|What:||Join us for an evening of hilarious and thoughtful stories shedding “light” on the season, the follies of the human condition, and hope for sunnier futures.
The evening will feature Megan Hicks, a Philadelphia storyteller who tells her fractured Groundhog tales;
Jim May, EMMY Award winner with McHenry County humor and family tales, from his book The Farm On Nippersink Creek;
Minton Sparks,Grammy nominated storyteller/spoken word artist accompanied by Jazz guitarist John Jackson, a Nashville session musician. Minton recently made her debut on the Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman Auditorium and performed in the American Songbook Series at the Lincoln Center.
